A flutter here, and a flutter there.

So I've been on Butterfly watch mode all week. I just started out on butterfly watching, inspired by a workshop I attended with an organization called ATREE.

In just the span of a week and a half, I'm proud to say I can identify at least 20 different species. And somehow, I feel like this obsession ain't going away.

Last Sunday, I found these two in my garden at about 10 am in the morning. I checked my buttefly guide and some pictures online to match up their identity, but to no avail. I've been seeing them everyday since. They love the Frangipani tree and the neem tree. They're mostly together, and I love having them in my garden.

Yesterday, I observed that they shifted from their restlessness to a more relaxed stance. Even now, one of them is quietly resting on a potted palm.

Do drop me a line if you know the identity of this particular butterfly.
